“Time warp”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

Can you say interesting!! The only thing that was sort of updated was the one tv in the upstairs bedroom. I liked the concept of the hotel, two floors with 3 beds. The refrigerator hadn't been defrosted ever. The jacuzzi tub had a panel that wasn't secure and was definitely in need of some cleaning. The breakfast consisted of stale bagels and English muffins. It was a very big disappointment for the money. If the owners want to bring it into the 21st century it could be a nice place. Maybe....

We were visiting family on the cape and the spillovers got to stay here. The property really needs an overhaul. The room was quite large and relatively clean that was really the only real plus. The bathroom faucet leaked, the heater was rusted and needed painting along with the woodwork. The mirror needs replacing. The towels were adequate. The bed was huge but not comfortable and the pillows were meager. There were no additional pillows or blankets in the room. The TV was sad....it was small and the picture blurry. There was a wet bar with sink and frig next to the bed. The light didn't work and the frig cycled on and off all night long. You had to pay extra to use the in-room safe. It was included in the room price. If you didn't use it, they refunded the charge ($1.50). The blackout curtain needs replacing. The location is good but I wouldn't return unless there were no other options...

We have stayed here twice in the fall as it is very convenient to family who live in Falmouth. The hotel is older and pretty outdated but we couldn't beat it for the price. It is very centrally located to shops, restaurants and grocery stores.

It wouldn't be my first choice to stay but i wouldn't rule it out either.

Dated- like a time warp back to 1980. Which would be ok if they had kept up with even the most routine of maintenance or made any improvements since then, but alas...
Dingy- Rusty, crusty, kind of nasty all around; That "yuck" just below the surface feel you get when you simply don't want to know.
Decrepit- see "dated", above, only worse. Actually, see dated + dingy and you'll get the idea.
Don't- I mean, just don't stay here. Find a park bench, sleep in your car, anything.
Oh, and not inexpensive either by the way. Expect to pay $150 or more, depending on the room and season.
You have been warned.

I have stayed at this Inn yrs back when they had entertainment in their lounge, which they don't have anymore. Also, they used to serve a rather large breakfast buffet, from bacon, eggs, sausages, u name it. It was great!!
Now, your lucky to get a pancake or waffle, and you have to make it yourself, and hard boiled eggs that are cold....really? And muffins that are not so fresh. Don't get me going on the coffee, gross. Good thing they had a DD nearby!
I was very very dissappointed. I found the room dirty, bathrooms disgusting, and so outdated, and it used to be a great place, not anymore, especially for the price they want for a suite (townhouse) during the summer. Totally not worth it! Don't think I would stay here any time soon, and wouldn't recomment it to anyone else.

Room Tip: I Couldn't give a tip to any traveler to choose a good room, sorry :(

The hotel is very convenient, to stores, restaurants, and the ferry. but it is VERY DIRTY, would never stay there again , bathrooms was awfully dirty and the room was musty smelling, and outside door didn't even lock. I feel this place is way over price should not have been more then 40.00 bucks a night Cap Cod or Not. not worth it, would never stay there again nor recommend to anyone, we were there for a wedding, what a shame.

Room Tip: Do Not book this Hotel

Stayed at this incredibly nasty, nasty place with a senior tour group. Room was nice with a spiral staircase to a second bedroom which we did not need or use - thank goodness. At approximately midnight, there was a wiring fire in the basement. Fortunately it did not combust or spread. No one from our group heard the alarm which was very very quiet. My husband got up to use the bathroom and said, "What is that sound?" It sounded like a microwave. When he opened the door we saw the light revolving and heard the sound. The hall smelled from burning wire and there was smoke coming up the stairs from the basement. There was a handicap person next door so I banged and banged on their door to get them up. They didn't hear the alarm. We ended up in the motorcoach for hours and then was escorted to our room by the police to get our belongings. The hotel took no action to help us because there was only one clerk at the desk. It was all up to the firemen and police. We were all able to get new rooms in another building because the fire needed to be investigated and checked out. In our new room the lights flickered and I said, "Oh no. I don't believe this!" We have been traveling approx. 26 weeks a year on business for over 20 years and have never had an experience like this one. Anyway, we moved the bed to check out the plugs and the wire was frayed and the mattress was up against the wall sitting right up to the outlet. We left the mattress pulled away for our own safety. Although the room looked clean, you could see heavy dust behind the furniture. The next day our keys didn't work and the attendant (I think the owner) wasn't concerned and shrugged. I explained that several of my traveling companions have the same problem and are on their way down to the office. Seeing all these people, she re-keyed all the rooms. One couple had sparks coming out of the TV when they put it on. When they tried to call the office, the phone didn't work. She went down and was told to "Unplug the TV" These people don't care about travelers and certainly not for our safety. One person reported little black spots on the bedding, another one had bites from the bedding. My bed had a very strange smell like urine but my husband (exasperated) said it just smelled musty. It was the worst bed I slept on. Our group was there for 3 very very long nights. Since this was a tour, we had no choice but to stay. Never again. It was so bad that we never took another one of these tours. I cannot believe some of the reviews I am reading about. Are these people blind? Are they comfortable in these rooms? No exaggeration here! Check the news! Sept. 24, 2012 fire at the Admiralty. And, the hotel does not care because they book all these tours and the same people don't come back anyway. The owners are very irresponsible people and have no regard for safety or cleanliness. We never expected luxury but we did expect a safe and clean room. Take your life in your hands if you stay here! Maybe the owners will get the message when their bookings go down.

Room Tip: An unsafe place to stay! After our fire, I hope the codes department (fire) went through the entire...
