On a recent trip to New England we stopped by JT Farnham's after having seen it on Triple D. Being from the south we'd never had whole belly clams and wanted to try them. We weren't real hungry and were planning to also try another Triple D joint a short trip away so the five of us all sampled some of the goods. We ordered whole belly clams, a lobster roll and an order of onion rings. The clams were wonderful and very tasty. Small portion though for the price. The lobster roll was stuffed with plenty of tasty lobster and not overloaded with mayo so you could taste the meat. The onion rings were nice and crunchy but the batter lacked seasoning and was sort of bland. It was a bit chilly outside but on a nice day they have picnic tables overlooking the inland waters that would be nice. The kids enjoyed feeding Gary the Goose, who patrols the parking lot, some oyster crackers our waitress gave them to do so. A bit pricey but an enjoyable meal.
