I grew up going to Woodman's when "eat in the rough" implied "pay in the rough" and families could definitely come here for a tasty dinner after a day at the beach. While the setting is still terrific and old-school (wait in line to order/pay, no table service, breeze coming in the screen windows), the prices have gone crazy. My two young teenagers and I shared 2 entrees and a side dish, and paid $105 to drink iced tea in a plastic cup and eat with our hands. I get it, I LOVE eat in-the-rough, but doing so at these prices felt ridiculous. The food, I must say, continues to be perfect. The steamers are insane and the fried food is done better than anywhere else. Just save your pennies before you go, don't be shocked (like I was) by the prices, and have a great time.
