We stayed here the night of our Wedding and it was great, The room was very clean and big - comfy bed and friendly staff. Breakfast in the am was great, would go back there again & highly recommend it!

Stayed 2 nights here. Wonderful place to stay, very convenient to walk to main street area and to catch the bus to see the area. We stayed in room #17, I believe, as there was 3 of us. There was a pull out couch for one of us to sleep on, that I highly recommend be replaced. There are newer models that are much better, this couch/bed has definitely seen better days. That was the biggest disappointment in our room. The breakfasts were amazing! Definitely a real plus for staying here, along with the afternoon tea. There were bikes to use, which we used for a short trip to the lighthouse, but it would have been a nice touch to offer their use for free. We were charged $25 per bike and were only gone about 2 hours. The biggest plus was the food, location, and great porch to enjoy afternoon tea!

We stayed two nights at the Hob Knob Inn - this was a real pleasure. Jerry saw to it that we had everything we wanted. The breakfasts were fabulous, good choices available, beautifully cooked and presented. My other half said the blueberry pancakes were his best ever breakfast in the whole trip. Jerry suggested good nearby places to eat within easy walking distance for dinner and we borrowed bikes and rode around for the second afternoon. All in all very pleasant. On the first night, as a light sleeper I was aware of creaking noise from the floor above and fortunately Jerry was able to move us which he did without complaint. I would suggest trying for the top floor if you can. Otherwise the place was fabulous.

This was our first time to Martha's Vineyard and we just loved this island. There are many places to stay and we were very thoroughly satisfied with our choice. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Our room was on the first floor in the back of the hotel. A bit noisy at times but there was a "white noise" machine in the room to drown out the sounds. I would request an upstairs room next time. The wrap around porch is so relaxing. Really enjoyed it in the late afternoon and again in the evening where the gentle lighting just beckons you to sit down and relax. Breakfast was delicious as well as afternoon tea. Edgartown is just a quick walk down the street and there are many quaint side streets in the area to lose yourself in.
