Description: "Best fried clams in the world" Food & Wine Magazine.Arnold's seafood is so fresh, any fisherman would approve. Native lobster, local raw bar, cocktails, gourmet ice cream, mini golf.Arnold's owner is Nathan “Nick” Nickerson, a true Cape Cod native and Mayflower descendant. Nick grew up surrounded by the sea and worked on farms and with family in Cape Cod restaurants. 35 years ago he founded what has become the world-famous Arnold’s Lobster & Clam Bar. From the start, crowds were drawn to the fresh, native seafood, generous portions, friendly service and fun Cape Cod atmosphere found at Arnold's.

“Great Clam Shack if you can stand the crowds!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

I'm local to the Lower Cape and can honestly report that Arnold's is one of the many outstanding Clam Shacks on the Lower Cape (along with Friendly Fisherman also in Eastham, either Cobbies and Katies in Brewster, & PJ's in Wellfleet). Arnold's is the most well known among the bunch and probably has a bit broader menu and larger dining area along with a liquor license and mini-golf next door (although it's cost per round approaches the greens' fee of a real golf course!) which is why it tends to attract the greater number of tourists. It's all good, but as I said it's always crowded and noisy which is why I suggest the other local competitors. As long as the quality of offerings is comparable, I'll go for less crowded with a more manageable decibel level over liquor license and more extensive menu every time. If you're here for on vacation and feel you must try this place, I suggest doing what we do... call in ahead of time for take out and then dine at home in peace with your family while on vacation! All you gotta do is excuse your way to the front of the line and announce yourself. You'll be otta there in 5-10 minutes with only a little of hustle and bustle effecting your enjoyment. All the Clam Shacks are strictly seasonal (May-Aug with a little variation), so if you're here off- season, you'll just have to come back when the sun is high, the beaches are toasty, and the surf is refreshing!

“Our favorite summer seafood meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

Yep! The best still on the lower Cape! We go early. Dinners are served later in the afternoon so our menu is limited. Very fast long lines. Well organized counter staff! .Golf anyone!

“Food and fun...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2012

This is what you come to Cape Cod for! Really good, fresh seafood. Fried Clams, french fries and onion rings, doesn't get any better than this! Then get an ice cream and play a round of mini golf to work it off...

“Great Clam roll”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2012

Yummy clam roll. Crispy, light batter with fresh oil makes a great clam strip roll. I have eaten there many times over the years and it is dependable. My father always swears by their fried scallops. This is just really fresh fried seafood. I have never had anything other than the fried clams, shrimp or scallops.
