“A delight.”

Jean and Gordon are excellent hosts. Jean's breakfasts are a culinary pleasure, and she is most helpful on all details. Gordon is one of a kind: an amusing host and raconteur who is determined to make every guest's stay an enjoyable one. We stayed in Nantucket Cottage which is a bit more expensive, but very private, comfortable and delightful. It is right next to a birdlife sanctuary, with interesting walks and great views. This is a place that deserves a few nights stay to really appreciate.

Take a deep breath and exhale slowly. Adjacent to the Cape Cod National Seashore is a gem of a place that we had the good fortune to visit recently. Fort Hill B&B in Eastham is truly an oasis from the rush of everyday life. With expansive views of Nauset marsh and open ocean beyond - serenity thou art afoot!

Our hosts, Jean and Gordon, could not have been more welcoming. Their knowledge of local history, recreational venues, and great dining were very helpful indeed. Accomodations and Jean's breakfasts were first rate.

Jean and Gordon have spent over 20 years as hosts and their devotion to doing it right shows!

“Romantic Getaway”

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in the Nantucket Cottage on the beautiful property of the Fort Hill Bed and Breakfast. The cottage was the perfect spot for our romantic getaway weekend and our hosts Gordon and Jean made us feel welcome and comfortable. From the picturesque setting overlooking the Nauset Marsh and Nature Trail to the beautifully decorated cottage to the delicious gourmet breakfasts provided, it made for a wonderful experience. We highly recommend staying with Jean and Gordon and enjoying their warm hospitality. We hope to return again for our anniversary (maybe every year!)

“perfect weekend”

My wife and I stayed at Fort Hill Bed and Breakfast last weekend (April 2012) in the Emma room. Gordon and Jean are wonderful hosts with a wealth of knowledge about the area: places to hike, trails to bike, trees to wonder at, restaurants to frequent. You could also do fine without their help because the seashore is about 500 yards from their front door. Jean is also a great cook; breakfast was memorable. If you forget your book, no worries. Their library is splendid. We've already booked our return in September, which is wise as they have only three rooms.

We had a perfect long weekend and would have loved to stay a bit longer in your beautiful, quiet and perfectly located house. Thanks again for the whale watching tips, your hospitality and the delicious breakfasts.
