“A nice meal at a reasonable price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

It was just across the street from where we'd stayed and the reviews on TA were generally positive, so we tried it. I had the Tuna which was excellent, my wife had the Lobster Bisque which was terrific and a salad. Good service, fair prices. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here (very old-fashioned, and somewhat cavernous on one side of the building, there appeared to be a more up-to-date section on the other side of the hallway. It's really a 3.5 place in my opinion - better than average because they know how to prepare fresh fish properly, but it is after all, uninspiring and very old-school preparation.

“A very fine dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012 via mobile

We had a delicious dinner here over the weekend. It's a very nice seafood menu. Dinners come with a small salad, type of potato, and vegetable. After we ate our salad the waitress brought us a small serving of lemon sorbet to cleanse our palates. That was a surprising touch. Our dinners were all super. A dessert platter is brought to the table so seeing how wonderful the desserts look you have to have you. Quite delicious. This restaurant isn't open for the winter. I think we were lucky to get there before the close in a week.

“A Mass. Marvel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

We were hesitant to go here because it was across the street from our hotel but its proximity only added to our pleasure. A classy beachside restaurant where most people dress up for dinner. You don't see many children here where the average age is in the senior range. But it all adds to the elegance of this dining experience where the food and staff were just terrific. It could be pricey but take advantage of the 3 course special for $23. The lobster bisque appetizer was the best I ever tasted. The choices for entrees were wide and varied. I went after Labor Day and the place was almost packed so during the high season a reservation must be a necessity. Our first dining experience made us come back the next night and we should have come the 3rd night as well but it seemed boring to do so. That was a mistake because we ate a very boring meal in a place named Brax that was nearby. Stay with a winner.
