“Wonderful Wedding Weekend Daren and Annie”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

Just got back from an October 19 wedding at the Corsair & Cross Rip oceanfront Resort . My first time there ,and I've traveled to other places but I was really impressed with the accommodations, the room was lovely and the staff was super especially Mark at the desk. Fantastic food and great place for a wedding or a weekend get away. I will definitely go back would love to spend a week next summer. I give them 2 thumps up and a gold star.

Had a great 6 nights with our daughter and son-in-law and their two and a half year old son.Our grandson revelled in traveling between the 2 spacious adjoining rooms(unfortunately the only one available) delivering assorted mail, papers etc. Both rooms had flat screen T.V.s with good cable choice and well equipped kitchenettes. While our room had a single king bed their room had 2 beds with a sitting room and balcony. The rooms were very clean and Mark(the owner) was a very helpful and "hands on" fellow. At this time of year (late Sept.and early Oct.) we enjoyed a very good and complimentary breakfast. The hotel is on the beach and centered on Cape Cod equidistant from Woods Hole in the South(ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket) and Provincetown in the North.Mark and his staff were very pleasant and accommodating and always approachable whether it was where we should go and what we should see what we needed in the room or whether we needed the indoor pool(a tad cool for the ocean or outdoor pool and hot tub!)In addition there were many dining choices within walking distance or a short car ride from the hotel.Best of all the price for the suite was very reasonable and we are recommending the Crosstour to our friends. All in all a great place with great staff and great service!!

We have been coming to this resort now for many years… The staff is very helpful, friendly and accommodating. They are very attentive if you should encounter a problem. The owner Mark is also always there and makes himself visible.. He will often stop by when we are there to see how things are going.. Where do you get that??
We love the commodore house, its in the middle of the two resorts.. we have stayed there for many years now with our family, the beach is right there and house is beautiful. For a spring & fall get away trip my husband and I stay in either of the resorts the Corsair or the Cross Rip both very nice. We recently stayed in the ocean front room at the Corsair and it was very nice, good size refrigerator and full size stove, the bed was very comfortable and the view was breath taking. Love the glass panels too, you can see the ocean without seeing the railings. Looking forward to going back in the spring.

Room Tip: The Corsair rooms are a bit bigger

My husband and I stayed two nights at the building located just down from the main office. Our room had the most comfortable King bed ever, a nice bathroom and a balcony with a view of the ocean. It was a very small room with barely enough space to walk around and we had to keep our suitcase on the table and chairs provided in the room, but we didn't mind since we never had meals there. We travel fairly light, too, but those with lots of luggage may be annoyed, I suppose. That's too bad because if you avoid this place because of small rooms, you'll miss out on view of the beach right from your balcony and easy beach access for a very reasonable price.

They have 3 pools, that I'm aware of, and one is indoor. They apparently have frequent weddings there on Saturdays with wedding parties staying overnight, so be aware that it could be chaotic and noisy on those nights - although it wasn't terribly late. Sunday was blissfully quiet and relaxing. They also serve coffee all morning and afternoon and lighter breakfast items in the a.m.

With the nice touches, clean room with comfy bed, free Wi-Fi, helpful staff and fantastic location, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Corsair and Cross Rip as a wonderful place to stay in Cape Cod.

My wife and our 18 month old daughter stayed here at the end of August. We had a ground floor room that included a partition that allowed us to sleep separate from our daughter. The room had a mini kitchen, allowing us the option of cooking our own food instead of going out every day. The grounds also included several grills if you wanted to have a cook out. The hotel stay was very friendly and took care of any of our needs. The only slight negative was the wifi connectivity. The connection was weak and we lost the signal many times. Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice for a family vacation. It provide a great location and access to many of the great attractions the Cape has to offer. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I made the hour and a half trek to use this place as our base camp for our annual fall getaway to the Cape. Don't be put off by the name. Actually two venues in one. Easy to find. Centrally situated off of Rt. 28. Nice for two 60+ folks. Clean and well-cared for property. Room was more than required for our purposes. We harkened back ... imagine having 2 kids, perhaps tweeners 11-15? A week in mid-summer. This would be the ideal place. Kitchen facilities, two sitting areas and in-room table, double queen beds, fridge, etc. Nicely appointed. Beach, though small, pool and better yet; an offsite area with an indoor pool and recreational area ... big screen tv, ping pong table, etc. Not for little kids; early teens and up. Wife and I never used all of the facilities, but really impressed by the ingenuity of the rec. site located between two rental properties. We figured that we'd be arrested while poking around to find the spot. ha. Good alternative for a family of 4.

Room Tip: Ocean View. 2nd floor. I can only speculate at the price during mid-summer.
