If you value artistic talent and creativity in clay, you have come to the right place when you turn off 6A and drive down past Scargo Lake up to this wonderful indoor/outdoor pottery gallery/school/showroom. Harry Holl and his "family" have been producing unforgetable pottery creations for a very long time. And I know that for sure as my family has been coming here and purchasing favorite pieces for over 46 years! Very hard to describe what you might encounter here except to say that the glazes on individual pieces or sets of dishes are uniquely beautiful. The free standing castles are striking and the other artworks are as well. The fish bird feeders are available in a large number of various glaze decorations and are a great lower cost purchase or gift for a beloved friend. I own several of these as well as several bowls that supplement my dishes and beloved mugs. Does it sound like I am prejudiced where my functional pottery is concerned? You be I am. Various creators are present to help you with your purchasers; sometime they are family members. You may also go home with a lovely wind chime or two that hang among the ceramic pieces although not created here. Enjoy!
