Dined at The Summer Stock with five others on a Thursday evening in mid -July. Arrived at 7:30 PM, place was perhaps filled to 15% of capacity. Dining area was nice enough, perhaps rather bland. One diner in our party ordered the squash lasagna and raved about how good it was. Another ordered the new york sirloin and though the steak itself was capably prepared, the cream sauce it came with was "not so great"; accompanying vegetables were "very good". Two diners settled for the barbecue cheeseburgers and stated the meat was high quality and far better than what they usually encounter at other establishments. The final two diners went for combination of various appetizers, chicken skewers, pizza, and crab cakes. Most of the chicken was considered spicy and delicious but there were a couple of pieces that were tough and "odd" tasting. The pizza was well received and the crab cakes were "delicious" but perhaps a tad overpriced. Service was top notch and overall the dining experience here was better than average.
