“Don't waste you time.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2010

If you like an unattractive, overweight, outdated, old, and real old crowd, go for it.
If you are in good shape, dress nice, even average in looks, go for a few laughs. Go
early enough to eat the swill so the cover charge is not completely wasted.
Some of the regulars are hilarious.
Was much better when Dick Syatt ran it years ago.

“Just okay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2009

Ended up taking about 15 people to the Village Green for my Mom's birthday in Janauary. It was a Saturday night and it was difficult to get someone on the phone to set up a table for that size - finally got in touch with someone and they were friendly.

We got there at 6 and by 8:30 when we were done with the dinner the place was jammed with people and a wicked loud karoke contest in the main dining room.

I wouldn't recommend this place for a family like dinner where you'd like to sit back have some drinks and chat. If you're looking for a place to go with a group of friends for a loud crazy night - this place would be ideal.

Food wasn't bad either - very pub like food - fas & greasy.

“Just There Friday, January 16, 2009”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2009

Man, what a place, first you walk into the pub where there is kareokee, but I want to dance, well then you walk into this room that looks like a bar and pow energy, I haven't felt since the night clubs in the 80's, lights and great music, crowd was 30's - 60's and I asked a girl to dance and she said yes, great feeling, the music was mixed 70's, 80's, 90's, and today so I felt young and still knew some of the music. You got to try this place out!

“Not even edible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2008

My wife and I recently stopped at Tavern on the Hill at Village Green for Dinner. I had the Seafood plate and she had the Steak Tips. We also ordered Onion Rings as an appetizer.
There are no waitresses. The bartender leaves the bar to wait on you.

The seafood was not fresh and the fish was disgusting.
The Steak Tips were closer to stewed beef that you would find as leftovers at some campsite.
The onion rings were good.
Don't waste your time or your money unless you're only looking for onion rings
Worst food I've had at a restaurant in years.
