My husband and I have stayed in B&B's where there are so many knick-knacks, we felt like the proverbial bull in a china shop. We have also stayed at B&B'swith communal tables where we felt obligated to talk with fellow guests over breakfast (and let's face it--not everyone's a morning person!). Josiah Sampson House is everything we'd want in a B&B: lovely, comfortable furnishings, great location, welcoming hosts, tempting breakfasts, and separate breakfast tables that encourage conversation among guests, but also allow for privacy. Rarely have we stayed at a B&B where we felt so wonderfully at home.
From kayaking to antiquing, elegant dining to lobster roll lunches served on picnic tables harborside, the surrounding area has so much to offer, and hosts Richard and Joe have a knack for making suggestions that are pefectly tailored to each guest's interest and personal taste.
Finally--a B&B that feels like home, only better!
