This was our second stay at Josiah Sampson Inn. The new innkeepers have enthusiastically embraced their role with their own warmth and personal touch. From the wonderful breakfasts to the cozy rooms and attention to service, we were never disappointed. Located in a beautiful part of the Cape, the inn is a winner on every level. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

My husband and I have stayed at numerous B&B's and this certainly ranks as one of the best. The Josiah has a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. The room we were in was lovely and provided everything we needed. The breakfasts were plentiful, delicious and beautifully presented. Our hosts, Richard and Joe were friendly and helpful, without being overbearing. They provided us with maps, information regarding places of interest to visit and recommendations for restaurants. We would highly recommend a stay at the Josiah Sampson House for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing beautiful atmosphere.

My wife and I highly, highly recommend this place. We stayed there for our first visit to Cape Cod this summer and we couldn’t have asked for a better bed & breakfast. The house was charming, quaint, and very well kept! We just fell in love with the rooms available and the breakfasts were amazing!!! The hosts, Richard and Joe, went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and their recommendations for dinner and scenery were better than any travel guide we could have picked up. My husband and I have stayed in B&B's where there are so many knick-knacks, we felt like the proverbial bull in a china shop. We have also stayed at B&B'swith communal tables where we felt obligated to talk with fellow guests over breakfast (and let's face it--not everyone's a morning person!). Josiah Sampson House is everything we'd want in a B&B: lovely, comfortable furnishings, great location, welcoming hosts, tempting breakfasts, and separate breakfast tables that encourage conversation among guests, but also allow for privacy. Rarely have we stayed at a B&B where we felt so wonderfully at home.

From kayaking to antiquing, elegant dining to lobster roll lunches served on picnic tables harborside, the surrounding area has so much to offer, and hosts Richard and Joe have a knack for making suggestions that are pefectly tailored to each guest's interest and personal taste.

Finally--a B&B that feels like home, only better!
