“First Nights”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

The employees of the Bradford Inn are exemplary! The rooms are extremely clean, and there is always plenty of breakfood food for all. Did I mention that the Inn is a good location to walk around Chatham...well, it is!!! My husband and I have stayed at the Inn for the past three First Nights. Guest gathering on New Year's Eve is always great, especially to meet the staff and other guests. I'm sure we will do again this year.

My wife and I have stayed at the Bradford many times and we love it. We often spend a few days in Chatham around New Year's, as there is a fun First Night program in the town (music, food, and fireworks.) The rooms are large, clean and nicely furnished ... some (all?) with gas fireplaces. A continental breakfast is included, and the staff is quite friendly and helpful. There is a lounge with a fireplace that is a nice place to relax with a drink ... not a noisy bar area. It is a quiet place, even though it is right off of the main street of town. Can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: I don't want to give away the secret to getting the best room ... but there is one!

My husband and I stayed at the Bradford Inn the Week-end after New Year's. The Inn is very nice and the location is very good , you can walk to the shops downtown and restaurants. We found it a bit pricey for the middle of the winter and they could use a little updating to the rooms. No window treatments very plain, though comfortable and clean. Ok if you want a comfortable clean room near the downtown area of Chatham , but if you want a true Inn experience I would recommend somewhere else. The breakfast offereing was just some pastry and coffee, no hot dishes. The staff was very nice. On the whole the Bradford Inn was Nice but nothing special. I would recommend the Cranberry Inn or The Chatham Bars Inn for what we paid to stay at the Bradford.

Room Tip: No restaurant or room service.

The Bradford Inn is an elegant place to stay while you visit the Town of Chatham. We have stayed at the Bradford Inn for the past 2 years and have enjoyed our stay. The surrounding area is beautiful, charming, romantic and very welcoming. Everyone we met was so nice that it is a draw for us to return again.

Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Room Tip: look at the photos online. They are very clean and comfortable. The mattress was very comfortable.

My wife and I and four other couples thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bradford Inn while taking in the festivities of the Christmas Stroll December 7-9 2012. We traveled there from New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
This was our first stay in Chatham and we all agreed that the Inn was a perfect choice, and, just a short walk to Chatham center.
We all booked rooms in the Building named "Hideaway" which was very close to the main building that housed the office, breakfast room and a cosy bar.
Our rooms were beautifully decorated and immaculate.
One feature that we all enjoyed was the common rooms in the Main Building where our group
could spend time together after walking downtown.
We plan to return to the Bradford Inn next year possibly for the New Year celebration.

The Bradford was terrific. We got an off-season rate, so it was a good deal. The inn is made up of several buildings, and as far as we could tell, we were the only people in our building. Gotta love privacy. Well done, though not exactly ground-breaking, breakfast. The employees were pleasant and helpful. I don't know what it's like in the Summer, but off season, it's a great, peaceful escape. The room was spacious and comfortable. The heat controls were easy to work (a refreshing change from other Cape inns). The bathroom was modestly sized, but luxurious feeling. We'll be back.

Room Tip: We didn't see any of the other rooms, but I suspect they're all good.

This is excellent Cape Cod value. The Inn is set just off Main street in Chatham and easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops, and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The check-inn was exceptionally friendly and the DVD library was extensive - perfect for rainy October. We stayed in the Plum Duffy (I think) building in a deluxe room with a lovely fireplace and balcony to sit and enjoy the sunset from. The continental breakfast was adequate and there is plenty of hot coffee to get you going on a rainy day. If you like shopping, there are plenty of quirky shops in Chatham to while away the day in, and the restaurants are plentiful.

Room Tip: Get a room with a balcony and enjoy the sunset.
