Having heard such good things about the Wild Goose we were really disappointed by the food. Service was friendly and attentive but where the chef had got his playroom from I don't know. The staples of clam, lobster, shrimp were fine but going off piste to gnocchi, risotto and halibut on salad proved too much. Why couldn't they just stick to the basics ? Plenty of other places to try near Chatham before you need to take in the Wild Goose.
