We had a delightful stay for our anniversary weekend. We were greeted with chilled champagne and a very hot hot tub. The room was excellent, large and sumptuous, with Mozart provding music as we walked in. The linens, and soft furnishings were of the highest standard and we had the biggest bed I have ever seen! The staff were incredibly attentive, and helpful, advising on restaurants, and excursions. The Queen Anne is 5-10 minute walk from Chatham main street where there are a variety of boutiques, antique shops, restaurants and bars. Do go to Christians for a smart dinner, and then for a more infomal evening - head to The Chatham Squire.

Inn Keeper Gunther spent much time with us planning our route back to JFK - which meant that we were able to discover places we otherwise would have missed - including NewPort and Mystic - both of which were lovely.

We had a really wonderful time at the Queen Anne - and I would recommend without hesitation to anyone visiting Chatham / Cape Cod

Thanks to friends who had told me about the Queen Anne Inn in Chatham, Ma! I had heard about this magical Inn for quite a few years now, and as a travel writer, thought I would take the opportunity to check it out.. My family and I took a week off to spend a wintry vacation{ March 24th is very quiet on Cape Cod} to arrive late on a blustery evening to be greeted by a welcoming staff, who escorted us to our room, which was cozy and comfortable. Having a fireplace in our room added to the ambience, not to mention that the hot tub on our porch took the chill out of those wintry evenings! We found the staff to be extremely attentive to our needs during our stay, and made us feel like we were guests in a private residence. The delicious food they serve in the dining room only added to a very pleasant experience and a truly memorable week. We will return!!

My husband and I have stayed at the Queen Anne Inn several times in the past few years, and finally decided to write about our positive experiences We have stayed in the lower priced rooms all the way up to the Carriage house deluxe rooms. Each room in the Inn is unique, not one room is the same, even in the same category.
We felt the Queen Anne staff was very conscientious and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. During our summer visits the proximity to town by walking and to Oyster pond beach is excellent, as well as the pool on the premises. Since we are early risers, we usually meet Peter (the groundskeeper), who, when not tidying up the pool and grounds, bring us a coffee for our walk.
The food, my favorite. Breakfast is made to order with great options, like Fish cakes, and fresh fruit topped belgium waffles. The evening restaurant, The Eldredge Room, is comparable with any fine dining restaurant in the "city". We have had very pleasant experiences at the Queen Anne Inn, and will return.

Where to even begin with our disappointment. We researched various hotels on the internet and after reading the description and seeing pictures it sounded perfect. We booked the lowest price room which was so small and in such poor condition we checked out and went home a day early.

After driving six hours we checked into our room at 8pm to find blood stained sheets and towels with hair on them. We immediately went to the front desk and they were mortified at the room condition. However, they were unsure of what they would be able to do because housekeeping was already gone for the day. She managed to find clean sheets and towels, but we had to change them ourselves!

The next morning we spoke to someone who was either a manager or the owner and he offered to take $50 off our room for the first night. I thought that was extremely disgraceful when we were paying over $200 a night. At the very least they could have given us a free room or at least 1/2 off. They promised our room would be cleaned first thing after we left at 9am for the beach. When we came back 2 hours later it still had not been cleaned.

On to the rest, when using a hair dryer and the airconditioner a fuse would blow so you couldn't have both on at the same time. The bathroom was in poor condition. There was no VCR as the room description said. When something rolled under the bed and we picked it up there was a layer of dust underneath.

The pool was very uninviting- dirty. There was a hot tub, but it was completely covered.

The only good part of this stay was the breakfast- which was included.

This was a very disappointing stay and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Since î read trip advisor fairly frequently, î would like to comment on our stay at the Queen Anne. We also stayed in August for 2 weeks in 2 rooms, (the Garden Cottage) and found not only the rooms to our satisfaction, but the proximity to the Children's Beach and town wonderful. During our stay, we often asked for excursion ideas and we can honestly say, we now know Cape Cod like a native. Thank you- Günther and Dana.
We also enjoyed our huge breakfasts each morning, the dinners proved excellent quality too.

Cape Cod is an expensive area in the high season, yet we found the Queen Anne înn to be a good value compared to other properties.
