“Relaxing Night”

Check-in was quick, and the front desk staff was very friendly.

When we walked into our room, we liked it right away. The furnishings appeared to be modern and practical. The TV had an excellent picture, especially in HD. The bed was clean and comfortable, although I could do without the throw pillows. As I always do, I checked thoroughly for bed bugs, and am happy to report that I did not find any.

The hallway right outside the bathroom had a bunch of dark long hairs on the floor, and appeared to not have been cleaned. I called housekeeping, and they were there in 10-15 minutes to clean it up. They cleaned the entire tile area (not just the area with the hair), and after 10 minutes, they apologized and the issue was done. This must have been an oversight, and I appreciated the quick and professional response.

The bathroom was clean, and the shampoo/soap smelled very nice. The design of the bathroom was a bit odd however, as you could not close the door if you are sitting on the toilet....it was a very tight fit between the door and the toilet.

After we went out for dinner, we returned to the hotel and ordered room service for dessert. The woman taking the order was friendly and helpful, and our order came within 30 minutes. The server/delivery person was not friendly at all and didn't even say thank you, but I didn't let that bother me. The dessert was very good, and I'm glad we ordered it.

The night's sleep was very good, and the bed proved to be extremely comfortable.

All in all, I was happy with my experience, and would stay at the Burlington Marriott again.

This hotel was spotlessly clean. Good size rooms, quiet. The only criticism is the occasional handle was missing from the chest of drawers letting down the overall quality feel.

Food in the four seasons restaurant was excellent.

The food in the Irish bar was very basic.

The conference food was good and varied.

The shuttle service was excellent, taking you any where local at any time.

It was easy to walk to the local mall (if you didn't wabt to take the shuttle).

You can get an express bus from the end of the road to the centre of Boston for $5 an equivalent taxi would be $70 each way.

Gym and pool were of a reasonable standard.

Ive been staying at this Marriott for the past 5 yrs, at least 15 days a year, including when the rooms and concierge lounge were very nicely refurbished. Ive never had problems with climate control or fixtures. Staff is always gracious and capable. SummerWinter restaurant is top-notch, even though they discontinued a crowd -favorite Burmese Salad ! Fitzwiliams also consistent, but wish they would offer a veggie burger for us vegans/vegetarians who don't always want a salad. The fitness room is well-appointed. I find this a great, consistent, reliable place to stay with beds you can just melt in.

We had a great time.This hotel was at a perfect location for our trip to Boston.We had a great night sleep and very comfortable mattress.I felt the staff was very friendly. Front desk welcomed us right away and went right to our clean,large room.View might have been better on the other side of the hotel which I think looks toward the city.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking city would be nicer.

This was a very dissapointing stay, while the staff was reasonably friendly, this property is in urgent need of a major facelift......the lobby looks really tired.

I checked in on 9/12/12 and was assigned room 821 ( Concierge Level ), the a/c did not cool the room, it was pretty much a fan; the mattress felt like a partially filled waterbed, I could not sleep at all, I requested a room change and I was told that the hotel was sold out ( which I believe because it took them forever to answer the phones ); the pillows on the other hand were so hard, that it was painful to lay on them for more than five minutes, the first night I couldn't get internet to work ( the second night it worked fine ).

I'm really surprised about this property, while Marriott is not what it used to be, they usually are pretty good.

Didn't get a change to try the food.

We enjoyed our stay at the very clean hotel. The desk clerk welcomed us cheerfully and efficiently. The restaurant breakfast was a little greasy, but the service was wonderful. The valets were too busy carrying on their own conversation to help, but other than that, the staff was great.

The staff were extremely friendly everywhere within the hotel. From the front desk to the waitors/waitress.

The room had a nice view. I loved the big windows, the bed was very comfortable.

The buffet breakfast was incrediable! They had every and anything that you could imagine. A little pricey but definetly worth it. The staff in the buffet were super friendly, wish everyone back home was like them!

The only thing that I wish they had was a concerige on saturdays. Saturdays is the only ay they do not have one and in my opion should be the most important day to have one.

I would definetly go back!
