“It used to be my favorite..now will not go back!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

Loved it when it was Staybridge but now has been significantly downgraded in quality.
Here is the unpleasant list.
small room,(old rooms were much larger) hard bed, shower without grab bar (so no shower), downgraded towels and soap, 2 huge hard pillow on queen bed, no dining table,
breakfast...coffee undrinkable downgraded from Wolfgang Puck which was delicious coffee, this was thick, too strong and no flavor. Bagels, days old and hard, muffin microwaved so many times it was hard and stuck together, no forks to eat the eggs, no yogurt..a disaster..Computer room, neither computer working and office did not know code or password to start it again. They did let me use office machine but many people were upset about the computer. All in all with no sleep, no shower, no breakfast and email, an unpleasant stay...and will not go there again sad to say as it was my favorite hotel and stayed there several times a year, happily. .

Room Tip: make sure you get the one bedroom...ask for it..it is much nicer and so much larger than small queen...

A wonderful value for the dollar. Clean rooms, complimentary breakfast, free washers/dryers, fitness room and the best of all...friendly front desk people. I have to give praise to the manager that hired these employees. Always smiling, eager to direct or help in anyway, the front desk people are the critical first impression. Our suite had 2 double beds in one room (with a TV and own bathroom) and the other bedroom had a queen bed (own TV and bathroom). Nice sized sitting room with a large table to work on and a nice kitchenette with everything you would need to cook. Breakfast had scrambled eggs, sausage, french toast, waffles, cereals, muffins, breads, fresh fruit and of course juice and coffee. Close to I-95 and the Burlington Mall this hotel is centrally located. About 15 minutes from the Alewife T station, it is an easy ride on the T into downtown Boston.

If staying in Boston itself is not a priority, then head out on I95/3 to Burlington. The hotel is within 2 minutes drive of the Interstate giving easy access to all points north and south as well as being a mere 20 minute drive south to Somerville where you can pick up the Metro without having to drive right into the city.
The hotel is in a quiet, almost rural, setting as it is right next to a nature sanctuary and yet two minutes from the Burlington Mall for excellent shopping.

The two-bedroom suites have two completely separate rooms each with bathroom. The sitting room is fully equipped with double fold-down sofa, fridge, micro, toaster, cutlery. dishes etc.

Hot complimentary breakfast is served daily (three hot items plus cereal, waffle maker, cold meats, and the usual side items) and there is a complimentary buffet Monday to Thursday evenings.

Very convenient location for business travel. Right off highway and close to restaurants and shopping. Free breakfast was very good. Rooms were good size with full kitchen however one of the burners in stove did not work and was outdated. Free laundy, small workout room and no indoor pool. Overall a very good value.

My husband and I decided a week before to visit Boston for our Canadian Thanksgiving. I tried to get a room in the city , we left it to late. Seeing as we were driving there, I choose this hotel, just outside Boston. It was a very easy 20 min. drive to Boston and we found cheap parking for $10 in Chinatown on Sat. and on Sunday parking was free!!We really saved a lot of money! The quality of this hotel was excellent! Free Wifi, free parking, a very nice breakfast, extremely comfortable bed and pillows, a great kitchenette, nice staff and easy to get to. What more do you want, I would definately go back!

Room Tip: We had a corner suite on the ground floor, our car was right outside.

Stayed here for one night I wish more! We wanted to move into the 2 bedroom suite. We planned to stay in a studio but got upgraded to the 2 bedroom .. Very clean... Large building .. Great rooms out dated tvs but still nice.. Comfortable beds I would and will stay there again!

This was our first visit to a Sonesta hotel, and what a pleasant surprise it was: very reasonable rates, a good-sized room with plentiful storage space, a refrigerator, microwave and cooking hob, all spotless and sensibly arranged. As in other hotels, the alcove wash basin spoiled things a little but the bathroom was roomy with all fittings working well.
Breakfast was a revelation: rather than the standard coffee, muffin/bagel offering of most similar places, this hotel laid on bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages, toast, fruit juice and more besides. If this is typical of Onesta, other hotel chains face a serious challenge.
