My husband and I spent four restful nights at BBTS, and hope to spend more at some lucky date in the future. From start to finish, the innkeepers were welcoming, thoughtful, and perceptive. Both clearly give their best to their guests, and love it. Any special request we made was happily met.
Our room, the Belle suite, included a sitting room with foldout bed (as comfortable as the queen bed!) and a pantry area with refrigerator, coffee and tea service. The bathroom was roomy and luxuriously appointed. The decor throughout was pretty without being frou-frou or cluttered. And talk about clean - nothing in any room of the inn gave the appearance of every having been dirty.
I took advantage of the massage service, and found it professional, very well done, and a good value.
The breakfasts included fresh fruits, sorbet chasers, and whimsical touches, but all resting on a solid foundation of well-prepared, delicious breakfast dishes. Blueberry pancakes fluffier than any I've ever eaten, Parisian French Toast, pastry crusted quiche I'm still dreaming of . . . and don't get me started opn Donna's brownies!
The gardens, pool, and living room were equally well cared for and lovely to visit. If you can find room at this B&B, count yourself lucky!!
