“Moldy smelly room!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

Our room was smelly and unhealthy. There were animals in the walls, keeping us awake. Don't recommend this place at all. Overpriced for what we got. We found out afterwards there was breakfast included but the clerk at the desk never mentioned this to us.

Just got home after spending 2 horrible nights there. Where to start, no such thing as High Speed Internet, it cut out all the time. The rooms smelled musty, the sheets didn't fit the bed. Mold on the ceiling, refrigator did not work,oh and don't forget the roaches, breakfast was in another building outside of the motel,as was the pool, the pool water was dirty no smell of chorine.I booked for a room on the first floor, which was a must just had knee surgery and not cleared to do more then 5 steps, anyway they said they were booked and had no rooms on the first floor. Horrible place, the pictures on the web site are deceiving. This place sucks. Don't stay.

Stayed here while visiting family on the Cape.
In a pinch, this place will work. Needed just a place to sleep. It is simply just a motel. It does have a nice looking pool, but I didn't t try it. But it looked nice.
This place draws very local, normal people. Blue collar guys working on the road and need just a place to stay for an evening and grab a shower.
The room I had which was number 218 was fine. Didn't have enough towels but went to front desk and took care of it right away.
If you need a glass of juice or coffee in the AM you can have it in the "breakfast room". Don't look for much more. But it works.
It helps to put the air on in your room and go out to dinner and come back and the musty smell seems to disappear. At least for us it did. The room has a refrigerator and a microwave, which I didn't expect..
So for a couple of dollars and a need, you can come here and get a good nights sleep and hopefully a good shower. At least the waters is hot.

Room Tip: Ask for one on the second floor and you will feel safer. Use all the locks and it isn't too bad...

We stayed here two nights and it was just fine. I was nervous after reading some of the previous reviews, but we enjoyed our stay. Our room had two double beds, plus a living area with a couch and coffee table, and a nice wetbar with a fridge which was great. Yes, the rooms are dated, but it was clean and had good A/C, and the beds were comfortable. The guy at the front desk who checked us in was super friendly, and the maids were very nice and friendly too. Considering we paid less than half of what a room across the street at the Quality Inn cost, it was a good deal for where it is located.

The place is old and dated. That's okay sometimes. But it just wasn't very clean. It's the kind of place where you don't want to walk barefoot on the carpet. The bathroom was very tiny. The room air conditioner was really loud and didn't smell the best.

The front desk staff were very nice.

My boyfriend and I drove to the Cape for the weekend last minute so we booked this hotel based on price and convenience to other things we were doing. DO NOT STAY HERE! The first negative was after driving for 12 hours through the night we could not check in early. I do undestand what time check in is but I've been other places where we could check in early - no way was this place fully booked. We did look at other reviews before booking but only needed a place to sleep so we thought it wouldn'e be THAT bad - it was. When we opened our "non smoking" room the room smelled like a thousand stale cigarettes - GROSS. There was a tiny window which we opened hoping to get rid of some of the smell - no dice. On a plus side, the bed was very comfy. We did not have the free breakfast after experiencing the quality of the room and opted for IHOP instead which was right across the road. There is also a tiny place to get good seafood beside the hotel - I don't remember the name but it's in a lighthouse. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN - GROSS AND SMELLY!

Room Tip: Do not stay here
