The good: I tried my son's order of Oso Buco and it was excellent. We had an order of carpachio that was good but i have had better. Steamed mussles were were delicious with generous addition of calamata olives. The bread seemed rather crumbly for Italian but we mopped up the sauces just fine. I had Penne Bolognese and it was delicious. My son oredered the Oso Buco ad loved it. Come to think of it I had some risotto on the side and just when I could not eat any more, here came another bite. Spices were perfect.
We were pampered with multiple servers who were always at the ready offering freshly grated parmesan and cracked black pepper.
Finally desert...the best Tira Misu I have ever tasted...my son agrees. And a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream that was out of this world.
We came for jazz too but the band does not start until 9:30 and we got there too early, had traveled all day so we had to pass on it, but Chris had assured me he'd get us a table in the music area as I called ahead. I found the staff very friendly throughout the restaurant and bar.
