“Really enjoyable whale watching boat trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014

Really good trip, highly informative, beautiful views of the harbour on the way in and out with many opportunities to see a few whales. A real highlight of our time in Cape Cod. Don't miss it if you are in Cape Cod. we were lucky the weather was dry and sunny but not too hot. Crew very helpful about telling us where to watch.

“Had a Whale of a Time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2014

This whale watching adventure is something you have to do if you visit the Cape. The ride from the port to the whales is a tad long and it's very windy (and cold) even in the summer time, so bring a jacket. Once you get to the feeding grounds, there are whales everywhere, assuming you are there at the right time of year. The guides know the whales and their activities very well, so they do a great job getting you ready when the whales are about to surface. The boat was big enough where you could get a view even with a pretty full boat.

“Great Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

We really enjoyed our day. It was really hot on land but once the boat built up speed it got windy and cold, we were glad we listened to their advice and brought extra layers. The boat was comfortable, the toilets were clean and there was a snack bar. The naturalists on board were nice but also left a bit of silence to allow you to just enjoy being on the sea. We did have to travel quite a way to see the whales - not HWW's fault, it was just that was where the whales were that day 'almost in Portugal' according to our host! When we did see whales, some finns and then a very energetic humpback, the Captain took care to make sure all on board got to see and the design of the boat was good for viewing. My only slight issue with the whole experience was the parking attendant who was really aggressive and made me reverse park twice because he said I wasn't close enough first time and then allowed the man next to me to park a much bigger distance without a word!

“Not 5 star, 10 star”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

What a trip! The weather was perfect, the sea was calm and we were about to have a brilliant experience. The time of year was not ideal for whale watching but nature was on our side. The round trip was 90 miles in length over 4 hours and we were lucky to spend time with a dozen or so Minky (sorry if the spelling is wrong) whales. Wow, that says it all!

“Great trip!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

wow, I would do this again! We love a boat ride so leaving from Barnstable you have a nice view of the bay and then you get to see cape cod from the boat. Ok, everyone asks , yes we saw lots of whales and very close to the boat. We were on the second floor front and saw the whales just fine. I would get near a railing when you know you are around the whales. we also saw a shark .
