Our visit started out fair - a line of about 30+ cars, that moved very slowly. The guy taking our money took a long time to give change, and we realized what had taken so long. The winter
light display outside was nice, although a fair number of displays were not lit. When we entered the Conservatory, we took some pictures of our kids. A woman working there told us the rule for the indoor areas was no tripods. After taking our camera off the tripod, we were taking a few more photos, when the woman returned and threatened to call park police on us. We were shocked! Even though we gladly followed the rules, she got nasty with us and I still don't understand why. She said something about photography preventing people from getting by , but we were not impeding anyone from getting by. In fact, each time people came anywhere near us, we all moved to the side to allow them to pass. This exchange put a real damper on the whole experience, which was only fair to begin with. A real disappointment.
