All and all our stay at the Days Inn was disappointing. My husband and I booked a room as part of a date night. We went to a friend's wedding and received a special rate, which was nice, but the room was not worth it. When we returned from the reception we discovered the AC was broken. When we called the desk the receptionist was about to get off so she told us she would pass our issue onto the next receptionist. With the humidity making the temps feel like the upper 90's all week the AC was critical and we felt as though she blew us off. The guy who came to reset the AC was very nice and he did his best but the issue was never resolved. It was close to midnight at this point so even if changing rooms was an option it would of just been a huge headache. We were only staying the one night so we sucked it up. The next morning we discovered food on the floor under the bed and an unidentified pill. We gave the pill to the receptionist as we checked out but he seemed unconcerned. We told him its lucky we did not have out children with us. Trash is one thing but pills on the floor is totally unacceptable. I don't forsee us staying at a Days Inn anytime soon.
