We didn't have anywhere else to stay - there are 3 hotels in this area (Best Western, Days Inn, and the Boston Inn). Everything else was booked. Our room at the Boston Inn DID NOT have a hair dryer, clock, shampoo, or conditioner. The pillows were flat and our bathroom did not have enough towels and washcloths for all of us. When we went to the front desk to get two more sets of towels, they said they were washing them. This is a drive up to your door motel. We went to the pool and there were pick-up trucks backed up to the pool area with their tailgates down having a beer party and beer drinkers at the pool. If you like to party, drink beer, smoke, and stay up all night and don't care about your accommodations, this is the place for you to stay. We couldn't wait to leave and will not stay here again.

Our family of three stayed at The Boston Inn while attending a wedding of a close friend. We were booked for a stay of two weekend nights. Arriving late Friday night, we went right to bed. Saturday morning we went out for breakfast and spent time browsing around the area. When we came back to our room at one, we prepared for the wedding while our son took a brief nap. He awoke to have been bitten by a tick and found another one on him. We called to notify the front desk at that time, but had to leave for the wedding. Upon returning at 6:30 we stopped to tell them we would be leaving and asked to be refunded the night we did not stay due to the ticks. (They offered to give us a can of spray to use in our room) The desk clerk contacted the owner who declined to refund our prepaid stay. After returning home, I discovered three bites on my own body. If you are planning on staying at the Boston Inn, check the room for ticks before you go to bed. I wouldn't advise staying there. It is below par in cleanliness, and it definitely needs updated along with some upscale pest control.
