It is an older building but the rooms are pretty nice. The halls and the elevator in the side building may scare you, squeekie and old. Check for a refrigerator and microwave when you get there and arrive early if you want one cause they do not have enough for all rooms. I had two rooms booked and I was able to get friges and ovens for them both. On the weekends the breakfast that is included is a modified: one serve buffet, four items, eggs, meat, biscuits and potatoes. It was fresh, hot and good but only one plate...load up. Customer service was not made. The employees are young and learning. We had a family reunion there and use the ballroom. The food was really good. We had roast beef, chicken, potatoes, salad deserts and green beans...all perfectly cooked.

Never made it to the pool...too busy. Never made it to the bar although there was a karoche night that all bragged about having a blast. the rooms were always clean well even when they ran out of towels which weren't the biggest or the whitest, they remembered to come back to replenish without a phone call, at least not from me.

All in all it was conventiently located, comfortable and a good value for its proximity to DC.

what a great find, the room was great, linens and pillows very surprisingly nice. wonderful breakfast in the restaurant not the usual "continental breakfast" but a good bacon and egg cooked to order breakfast. will definitely return.

It was a Holiday Inn a few years back. I've stayed here 3 time over the past 5 months and the place is wonderful. Nice staff wit fast check in....very good wifi. Coffee 24/7 in the lobby and also in the room with REAL coffee cups. On sight Damon's rest that is very good...free breakfest at Damon's in the AM with eggs made to order with bacon or other meats. Also has a great business office area in the lobby with office supplies....note paper, pens, stationary. Seasonal pool with outside lounge area...free parking and lots of it. Most of all IT'S CLEAN! No worries here....but remember. No hotel can be perfect when it comes to the guests that stay there. You can run into party rooms anywhere that can be a bother.....it's how he hotel responses to such matters that counts and this place does a good job.

We checked in on Sept 19 2011 the toliet had what appeared to be feces in it we advised the front desk nothing was done. The glasses that were near the ice bucket had dirty water in them. We received a free breakfast at damons grill the waitress apparently did not like african americans and made sure that she ignored us and quickly delivered the food so that she could continue her conversation with the white guest. We returned to gather our things from the room and noticed that the desk was covered in ants. Thank God it was only for one night. Oh room 205 beware
