Kim and Jeff Bushey know how to make you feel at home- leave the pretension back in the city! I highly recommend dinner there (when available) as Jeff's culinary talent puts any other Inn to shame. Any doubt? You'll get a sweet sample each morning. Kim's fabulous touch is all class! For those who want to get on the water, ask them about paddling. It's superb at Tilghman.

My wife and I have visited this wonderful Inn on many occasions as it is a piece of heaven. The Inn is so romantically decorated that together with the excellent cuisine, it is a wonderful experience every time. The perfect place to be happy.

Kim and Jeff are great hosts and looked after us in such a warm and welcome way, which we had not experienced in any other part of the world.

My wife and I travel frequently to the Eastern Shore of Maryland and when the opportunity presents itself we like to visit the Cheasapeake Wood Duck Inn located on Tilghman Island. The Inn is situated facing Dogwood Harbor which has at anchor the last working Skipjack fleet on the Chesapeake. Rooms we have stayed in are spacious and well maintained each with its own private bath. The innkeepers are rapidly becoming not just our host but good friends too! and each breakfast we enjoy is topped only by the next one. Activities in the area are varied ranging from cycling to visiting historic St. Michaels , just a bike ride away. There are several fine dining establishments in the area to choose from all which makes each visit special. Jeff and Kim were wonderful to us and helped us celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Our two daughters and their spouses came with us and we were treated to a wonderful breakfast. We also arranged for Jeff a chef to make dinner for our celebration. What a wonderful treat we could celebrate in privacy at the Inn. The rooms were very well decorated and my view was of a lovely harbor of boats. I like to get up early and the sunrise was just beautiful to look at through my window. We rented bikes and with the help of Jeff he pointed out the places to see in Tilghman and also St. Michaels and Easton.I will remember this weekend for a long time. We got some beautiful pictures and I hope to go back soon with just my husband and relax with a book in the gazebo with my lemonade.
