The views from the deck are still great, but the interior seems sterile and the menu / food isn't as good. We went on a Monday evening and the place was empty - no trouble getting a waterfront table. We had the whole family, so our orders were all over the place.
The kids liked the mozarella sticks. The hush puppies and calimari were ok. All of the apitizers appeared to be from a package (e.g. the calimari had no tenicle pieces). The honey serve with the hush puppies was OUTSTANDING.
I had a forgettable crab cake - breaded and full of filler.
My wife had a nice piece of tuna over a caeser salad. The tuna was good, but the lettuce was a bit wilted.
Another adult diner had a salad with steak on top - she really enjoyed the steak, but left a good sized piece of gristle behind.
The other adult diner had sauted soft shell crabs - tastey, but needed to be cleaned a bit better - found a bit of lung in two.
The kids enjoyed their chicken tenders, mac and cheese, and burgers.
Service was OK - a bit slower than expected considering the resturant was basically empty.
We may come back, but it'll be for the view, not the food. We used to go to Captain's Table for the food and the view.
