A friend who lives locally took us to Stoney's for good seafood and it mostly hit the spot. First off, the drinks were surprisingly powerful. Their hard cider could knock your socks off. I then had cream of crab soup which lived up to its reputation. Terrific. Made most clam chowders I'd had seem watery. For an entree I had shrimp jambalaya which was creole hot and tasty, although I expected more sausage in the mix. My wife had mussels fra diablo which she said was OK but not the best she had. It was a good experience but a little shy of the fifth star.
