“Wonderful property, exceptionally good staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

This is an extremely comfortable and affordable hotel in the DC area. The guest rooms are very large and modern - with full kitchens! The pool/jacuzzi and outdoor firepit areas are inviting, as is the lobby. The location is great - adjacent to shopping area for groceries, and a 15 minute drive to METRO subway stop and short ride from there into DC. Most importantly, the staff are very friendly and professional. Carol at the front desk was gracious and kind, and we were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. And, free dinner on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays was a great surprise.

This is a very nice place. The room was big. We could of stayed there for a week and never felt cramped. The staff was very nice. The AC did make some noise and it did blow on the bed, but the cold air was nice. It had a nice work space and a good size kitchen. The bed is comfortable and the TV swivels so it can be watched in the living room and from the bed. Breakfast doesn't start until 7:00 AM, which didn't help us since we had to check out by 7. It is close to other restaurants in the area. We would stay there again when back in the area.

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding that was close by. The room was large and spacious. The bed was comfortable, but seemed a little small. The room was very, very clean which was a large plus. Breakfast was also decent. The only small minus was that we had to wait for a while to check in because there was no one at the front desk.

Stayed here for 12 days in their 2 bedroom suite. The rooms are clean and spacious. The beds are comfy, sheets are always clean and pillows are fluffy. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials. Pool is nice with a friendly lifeguard. Breakfast is good with make your own waffles, and toppings of your choice. Fresh hot scrambled eggs, sausages or ham, pancakes, potatoes, breads, etc. are the regular features of the buffet. There's also a yogurt bar, oatmeal, fresh fruits, juices. The breakfast staff go out of their way to make your breakfast enjoyable. They also have an evening service 3 days a week. The staff members I have met are always hospitable, friendly and courteous. The hotel is conveniently located near a Target, grocery stores and restaurants. Will be returning to MD for a 3 week stay and I am already booked to stay at the Residence Inn.

I just spent a week here and loved it. The suite has a full kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, range, pots and pans, dishes, and cutlery. It was such a pleasure to come "home" from a long day at the office and not have to sit on the bed to eat my dinner or do my work. The decor was updated, the furnishings looked new, and everything was spotless. The service was great too. They serve hot breakfast every morning and serve dinner Monday through Wednesday each week. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to anyone.

Stayed here with my family in a one bedroom suite. The bedroom is rather tight, but the kitchen and living room area is a really spacious to relax. Even with the pull out couch out, you still have a lot of space in the front. The only drawback may be that the walls are thin, so you may want to bear that in mind. There is a TV in the bedroom and one in the living area. The hotel also offers free internet. You have a hardline connection in the room. Wifi is available in the lobby for your laptop.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is really friendly.

They offer breakfast everyday and lunch Monday to Thursday. The variety may not be all that good if you are staying for more than a week. However, the warm hospitality of the ladies who prepare and serve the food, allows you not to even notice that. The room comes with a full kitchen, so if you can cook for yourself if you want.

The hotel is across the street from a shopping plaza that has target, a wonderful Seventh-day Adventist Health food store and some other stores.

The hotel staff is really nice and make you feel at home.

If you are driving, note that if you come in late at night, you will have to park way in the back, as the good parking spots up front will gone.

Would stay here again. Had a great time

Room Tip: Ask for a room that overlooks the pool.

Visited this hotel for a night, the hotel was very nice, however, my 16 year old son pointed out that the bathroom was not cleaned and the towels looked dirty. I was surprised because this was not our first time at a Marriot. The room smelled stuffy and felt like no one visited it. I was scared to sleep in the bed, however, extreme exhaustion from driving for 15 hours and the fact that we got in at 12am made me went against my better judgment. Thank God the bed seemed clean.

Very disappointed in Marriott, someone need to monitor the staff that are cleaning these rooms. I stayed in room 331.
