This place is kind of hidden. We decided to get a nite before a festival (instead of eating street vendor food). Arrived at 1PM on a Saturday and there was one other person eating in. (he ordered one of their raw ground beef dishes and left behind more than half).
It took about fifteen minutes for someone to take our order and another fifteen to get water. We ordered their signature beef dish (tibs) and a veggie dish. The beef was the toughest I have ever had at an Ethiopian place and most of it ended up in my napkin. Our glasses were never refilled and the server never even dropped off the check. I just went to the register, asked for the check, paid and left. This was the first time we both ate at a restaurant and left not satisfied and wondering what could we have. There are too many great Ethiopian restaurants in Silver Spring to ever o back to this one.
