“Luxury at the Linden”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2012

I frequent spas. This one had usual amenities. It had a steam room as an "extra" No hot tub room or sauna. Otherwise, very nice experience.

“A Little De-stressing before Dinner....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2011

A great place to be pampered prior to dinner....their Relaxation Room alone (while waiting) is perfect...highly recommend!

“Still working out the ' kinks'”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2008

I visited the Linden Spa late winter after waiting for a ' world class' spa to arrive in the St. Michaels/ Easton area.
It's truly a gorgeous space.. but they hadn't quite worked out the kinks by the time of our visit. We ladies consider ourselves to be pretty experienced spa goers and it's our thoughts that perhaps the staff of Linden should visit other regional spas (like Hershey or Mirbeau to learn what should and could be offered. Even an urban spa like Bliss has it down to a science!
Our issues?
1. The RELAXATION room was really chilly. No warm blankets and the chairs while pretty don't allow a way to get cozy. This room has a tranquil and lovely view to the outside-but being half naked between services- left us chilly and uncomfortable. We enjoyed the lovely interior design - but shivered the entire time.
2. As for services.. they could use a bit of help in that department too! One of the group's therapists used a damp blanket during her treatment. Almost like someone rushed to take it out of the dryer. It got colder and heavier during the massage and the table did not seem heated - so that added to the 'distraction'.
3. The massage services were average to below average skill wise. One of us wanted a deep tissue massage and her therapist delivered an average Swedish style massage. Additionally- they seemed short staffed . One person in our party was left to wait an extra hour ( without being told) because her person had not shown up. That threw our shopping and lunch plans out the window!
We are all willing to give it another try....but it's not inexpensive, . The Inn at PC is a gorgeous place and could be the Hershey or Nemacolin of the Eastern Shore. A spa consultant or a real field trip for the staff to experience other spas is in order. If they invest in growing this desireable attraction maybe someday PC will truly be in a league with the likes of Golden Door! For now.. not World Class ( despite T&L ones to watch) .. Perry Cabin- get your game up!
