“Find another place for breakfast”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

Just bad. Poorly cooked scrambled eggs with lump crab meat that seemed a bit long in the tooth. One tiny piece of wheat toast. This was called the "Martha Stewart." My husband's breakfast was equally sparse, over cooked frozen hash browns, and the presentation of both was sad. Grumpy waitress. Expensive for what you get.

“Wonderful pecan waffle!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

We had breakfast today at the cafe and really like the ambience of the pretty cafe and the sweet server, Elise. We enjoyed our breakfast as good food and good service!

“Delicious key lime pie”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

We had dinner at a different location and came here for dessert. We split a piece of the Key Lime pie and each had a glass of port. The woman was so nice. We came back the next day to take home some pie. Too bad we didn't come for breakfast as it looked very very good. Next time we come we will stay for breakfast

“Hungry anyone?”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Food was overpriced. Smaller food portions. Food was bland. Their hot chocolate taste like water even with the whip cream. The saving grace was the wait staff who was pleasant.

“Disappointing!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

My wife and I were in St. Michaels two weeks ago and stayed in the lovely B & B right next to the Key Lime Cafe.... while, it is an aestically please restaurant, please do not be fooled. First of all, I have no idea if the people giving this restaurant "excellent" ratings go out to eat often, but it is far from excellent. When our food arrived, it looked as if someone had thrown it on our plates. I had to send by my first item, because it had no taste...I finally settled on the sloppy joes and by that point, I wished I had just walked three or four more blocks to some other restaurant. For a restuarant that's named after the key lime, the pie sure was awful. Don't by fooled......walk a couple of blocks further down the road...
