On a recent trip to the D.C. area, we went to this restaurant for dinner and were so impressed that we returned for breakfast the same week.
At dinner I had the pork filet medallians. Don't make the same mistake that I did: the description on the menu mentions a mustard sauce. Since I don't like mustard I asked if that could be on the side. The server came back to let me know the chef said the meat would not be good without the sauce on it, so I said, "Ok, go ahead and put it on." Well, it turned out to be delicious and didn't have a mustard flavor at all. Unfortunately, I obviously offended the chef, though, because he came out of the kitchen to stare at me twice during the dinner! He didn't say anything, just glared, according to my fellow diners. Skip the chocolate waffle dessert and go for the brownie with ice cream.
Aside from that, for breakfast they offer the normal types of dishes as well as a variety of waffles. Everything was wonderful.
