“Nice rooms with furniture”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

Good location near the freeway. Large rooms with comfortable chairs, you don't need to sit on the bed. Nice décor and furnishings. The atrium and the hotel public areas are nice, too.. Shares a pool with the next door hotel. No hot tub. We stayed for five nights for a conference and found the hotel staff very eager to please. It was a great stay, and we will definitely stay again.

We travel at least 3 times a year to Maryland. Our experience with Crowne Plaza is excellent.
Any dissatisfaction, no matter how little, Mr. Amit Puri was there to make sure that everything
ran smoothly.
I would highly recommend Crowne Plaza and without doubt rank Mr. Amit Puri as a manager who knows the hotel business and can make a difference to us customers away from home.
Mr. Puri is another addition to the value of Crowne Plaza.
Thank you Crowne Plaza for your friendliness and a comfortable stay.
We will be back soon.

Great staff
Had a long drive from Buffal ny to reach this hotel
Was warmly greated by Riz who just took the edge off my long trip
She loves her job and it definitely shows with her genuine enthusiasm she definitely is a keeper
This hotel with plenty of convienant parking and has a pool
This has a great location and was right in the middle of all my meetings and dinner engagements
Th staff knew the location and directions to my nearby destinations including a us post office, which I desperately needed
I would definitely come back

We had two rooms during our stay, a king and a double suite. Both rooms were good sized. The suite was very nice for our family as it had a kitchen/dining area and living room separated from the bedroom area. We were able to put our son to sleep while we stayed up playing games and watching tv. They are also dog friendly and charge a $20 fee for your dog to stay. The pool was closed as it is outdoors and only open between memorial and labor day. The bathroom was a little small but clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. There were a few restraunts and shopping areas not too far from the hotel. Overall we were very happy with our stay and thought that the price was quite reasonable for the rooms we had. We would stay again for our next trip to DC.

I attended a three-day conference held at the hotel. The hotel staff was very courteous, friendly and always willing to help. I stayed in a Suite which was very nice, roomy, and comfortable, but a little dark. The price of the room was very reasonable. Adding to the value of staying at the hotel was free internet throughout the hotel and free parking, The meals at the hotel were good.

We were here about a year and a half ago and had a lovely time, not so this time. Had to talk with event planner to get our room and rate corrected. Moved to a lovely suite like we had previous visit only to find ants in the bathroom that were never fully eradicated. Room was large and comfortable, and like a small apartment. Food service in the restaurant was confused in that they could not remember who got decaf or regular and were dismissive of difference. Served soup spoons as tea spoons for coffee, we could have used them to row down the Potomac. Last day we wanted a regular breakfast and they only offered a buffet due to staffing shortage, we got up and walked out. Food at the family reception was not as good as last time and I chose not to eat it. All in all I would not go back. (They did make a correct to our room charge and the front desk staff and manager were courteous.) When I tried to list these issues with the Holiday Inn Site they rejected my comments saying there were either inappropriate or irrelevant if memory serves me correctly. Next stay in Rockville, Md will be back to a Marriott property.

Room Tip: Make sure you book directly with hotel and get confirmation of a suite.

It's a nice place, very clean. Staff was polite and helpful, Maxime helped me a lot at the front desk. Internet and parking are free, which actually saves a lot of money. The pool is kind of small, but the little kids with me still enjoyed it.
