I just brought a large group of people to the Bolger Center for a conference and couldn't have been more pleased with the choice.

The sleeping rooms were clean, updated and comfortable. The meeting facilities were well configured with a very nice large ballroom for group activities and breakout rooms located nearby. I also appreciated the free and easy wifi located throughout the campus. The campus itself has nice walking trails and lots of little places to sit outside for fresh air during breaks.

The food throughout the facility was fantastic-well prepared, with lots of choices for healthy and picky eaters alike. The break areas are convenient and well stocked with tons of great snack choices. There is also a nice bar for after hours activities (although it could be better staffed when the hotel is busy).

Best of all-the staff was great. We had a some hiccups with overbooking and a few of folks had to stay offsite. Other than that, they were good about meeting the needs of a very large, high maintenance group with late evening arrivals, heavy AV needs other special requests. We were very pleased with Bolger as the choice for our group.

My husband and I stayed at the Bolger Center during the 2013 inauguration. The price was great, and although we were concerned about the convenience of getting into DC -- they have a shuttle that runs on the hour that takes you right to the Metro station in Bethesda. There is nothing near the hotel, not so much as a convenience store -- so once you're there, you're locked in. We enjoyed The Pony Express Bar and Grill -- minus the parents who let their children use it like a jungle gym...and the hotel employees who did nothing about it. Also, there isn't food available during all hours of the day -- so when we arrived at 2p -- there was no food on the property available to us until 5p. Our room was okay. Tiny. The property seems really beautiful, if the weather is nice and you can enjoy it. We would consider staying there again.

I teach an exclusive drawing workshop and have used The Bolger Center for many years for my workshop. Their conference rooms are wonderful plus the service area for food and coffee was outstanding. Situated on eighty three acres of lawns and gardens creates a beautiful backdrop to the conference building.
Usually I stay with friends but the last few I've stayed at the hotel at The Bolger Center. I have just returned home after having spent 7 days there and I have nothing but praise for the place. Their normal quest rooms are adequate but quite small and this year I requested an upgraded room which I received. It was on the far end of the "E" building and what a room it was! It had a sitting room with a flat screen tv plus another bedroom with a luxurious king size bed and another flat screen tv. If you're going to the DC area be sure to check out this place.

The Bolger Center is a campus style, resort, perfect for trainings and meetings. All of the amenities on-site make the experience very comfortable and pleasant. The facade of the buildings appear a bit institutional or dorm-like, but the experience in-side is comfortable and accommodating. The campus landscaping is beautiful and well maintained. Conference center space is functional, could use some upgrades for built-in AV, but provide plenty of outside light (perfect for all-day meetings) and complete meeting package was perfectly planned. Great facility.
