I agree with what most people state on Tripadvisor: The view from our room (Deluxe Waterfront with Porch) was unbeatable. Also, the room was huge with a big bathroom and a lovely old-school tub. The furniture in the room is a little outdated but that is nothing that bugs me. We were also pleased with the cleanliness of the room. And the sheets that everyone mentions, are really that good!
However, there are two things that I did not find ok for the price - even though I had a Living Social voucher! We had a king bed and although I'm sure that this mattress had been a pretty good one when they bought it, it must have been there for quite a while...it was sagging so bad, it felt like you were "sucked in". We burst out laughing when we first lay on the bed since it was just so ridiculous. But sleep on this thing...impossible. When we laid normally on the bed, the feet were higher up than the head which was very uncomfortable. We tried to get to sleep but my hips and shoulder started to hurt and my husband tossed and turned because he couldn't find a comfy spot. So we turned and slept the other way round so that at least the head and shoulders had some firm underground. The second night, we slept "horizontally" on the mattress hoping that we could better avoid the sagging parts of it this way...It was just ridiculous.
Their breakfast is another thing I can't approve of. They deliver a basket outside the door so you can have breakfast in bed or looking out on the bed. Generally, that is a nice idea. However, what they deliver is not breakfast for me, but snacks. The first morning, the basket contained a can of coffee, two bananas, four muesli bars, two yoghurts, two packages of raisins as well as a package of three micro-wave heated Entenman's slices. Not that I make myself bacon and eggs every morning, but in a B&B I would expect some more effort. I can get this type of stuff in any Fairfield Inn for a cheaper price...They point out that you can walk up the street and have breakfast at the Robert Morris Inn for a discounted price. But why would I want to pay extra for breakfast (and walk to another Inn) at a place where my regular room rate is $299 a night?!
I'm not cheap by any means and I'm prepared to pay for good quality and a great experience but, with our without a voucher, I find this place to be way over-priced. Paying that much just for the view is not worth it for me.

I regret you did not inform us that you would like a firmer mattress to sleep on. It is unacceptable you did not sleep well for two nights, and the situation could have been corrected moving you to a suite the first night. I am sorry you did not feel you got a proper value.
As for your breakfast basket, you have described some items that we do not serve. Our breakfast selections change daily and we could have made alternate arrangements for you. Each morning guests should enjoy a craft of fresh brewed Colombian coffee, fruit juice, Amish baked goods, assorted yogurts, granola snacks, along with fresh and dried fruit selections. You should have been aware of our 24 hour coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and snacks in the parlor. Our breakfast and amenities are described in detail on the welcome letter your received at check-in.
