- I've worked in the area for 5 years
- I've been to pretty much every lunch spot in OM
- I love Sushi and I've sampled Sushi in Vancouver, BC (where its amazing) and all over Baltimore, New York, and DC (Where it's spotty)
Ok first, is this a joke? it's called Yuki Sushi... and unfortunately, it lives up to the name. Servers are quick - not courteous or friendly, but quick. Thus the two stars. The miso soup portion is tiny and so is the ginger salad. The sushi rolls are EXTREMELY tiny and the fish inside them generally equates to mush on my 3 visits there. Why did I go 3 times? Co-workers invited me so I obliged each time hoping for a better experience. The lunch special is a good deal but as with everything, you get what you pay for. I asked where some of the salmon was sourced from and they were unable to answer. (HInt, it can't be good then...)
When judging a sushi place, the initial smell when walking in is a great indicator. If it smells fishy, you know you might be in place with not so fresh sushi. Yuki is a great example of this type of sushi restaurant. AVOID
