“Top Notch hotel and staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 days ago NEW

We visit Baltimore several times a year to visit family and usually stay in the Inner Harbor area. On one visit, we arrived a day ahead of our planned arrival date. We decided to stay in Owings Mills and found the Hyatt Place. From check-in to check-out, it was a most pleasant experience. The staff is welcoming and efficient. The bed was very comfortable and the room large! The free, delicious breakfast was a great way to start the day. Good location and there is transportation to downtown very close to the hotel. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

This hotel is an excellent value with high quality rooms and good service. WIFI quality was excellent and the bed was most comfortable. The room was spacious with nice amenities. My only complaint was that the room clock radio was not set to the correct time. I recommend staying at this hotel for business or pleasure trips to the area.

This is a clean average above budget hotel. The rooms are decent but the bathrooms are small. They do have a sofa, fridge and sink area so that you can have some food in the room.
They also serve basic breakfast, though the hot food did not look appetizing.

I will say that the staff was very very nice and helpful all around, Kudo's to them.

Overall this is a decent place to stay if you have business in the area and want a bit above average.

before booking this hotel, i called and said i needed 2 cribs in the room for my 18mon old twins. the person on the fone said no problem, just make a note on your reservation which i did. we get there at 12 at nite hoping to smoothly transfer kids from carseats to cribs. no such luck. the receptionist mumbles something about being alone, and how she is not sure if there are cribs in the room, and how she knows 2 cribs are broken, and how it will take her 15 minutes to get one. we go to the room, with dead tired crying kids, 15 min later she brings up 1 old dirty pack and play with a hole in the bottom, 20 min later another one. in the end 1 hr later we just put the kids to sleep in the stroller in the room, but of course next day every body was dead tired kids + us because the kids didnt' get their usual sleep and i had to get up all nite and push the stroller around to put them back to sleep. even thought the hotel was prepaid without the possibility of cancellation for 2 nites, of course next nite were out of there as fast as possible. i talked to the manager next day about it, he mumbled smth w a smile on his face about taking care of the charge, but i have not seen any of that yet, nor have i been contacted for that. anyway avoid like the plague. of u need cribs in the room, this is where we ended up - DoubleTree by Hilton Baltimore North - Pikesville.

we are visiting our son for the holidays and decided to give a Hyatt a try. It was a great place! Serenity checked me in and we just plain nice and very efficient. On of the employees helped me out with a need. His name was Angelo and he was nice. Brandy was friendly and loved our dog. Christina was a manager I met and was also ver nice. This is a great place for a family or travelers with dogs. I definitely will stay here again. I am glad I took a chance and tried a new chain!

My family and I have stayed at this hotel on two occasions and both times we were very pleased. I like the fact that there is a mini fridge in each room, as well as a pull out sofa. And who does not like "free" breakfast. The breakfast selection was nice and it gets crowded quickly. This hotel was also very convenient to supermarkets, malls and interstate. Tips: if you require a bathtub, make sure you request it as most rooms have showers only (we sometimes travel with my grandson who is too young for showers.) Also, put your "do not disturb" on door if you don't want to be disturbed before 9 for room service. Other than that, the rooms are spacious and clean and beds are comfortable. You can't beat the value for the service and accommodations that you get.

Our adult children (and kinda-adult dog) stayed here over the holiday weekend. The staff were very friendly, the rooms clean, and the hotel very accommodating. Breakfast was just fine. We will be back next year, if not before.
