We often go to this restaurant for lunch or happy hour by boat, as they have a number of boat slips dedicated to customer boats. It's prime dockside location allows for fun people watching as the fishing boats come back in the afternoons and you can see what was caught that day. Lots of brightly painted Adirondack chairs are scattered about, making for a relaxing place to sit, have a cold drink, and enjoy the atmosphere. Ths place is always busy during the summer, so if you can come at odd hours, like between 2-4 pm, you should be able to get a good seat. You can sit outside on tables in the sand, or under a covered area by the bar if you want to be out of the sun. Whenever we go there, we get the conch fritters - they are hot and tasty! The chef also has daily specials which are not to be missed. My husband likes the blackened grouper reuben sandwich, which is on the regular menu. The fish tacos are very tasty and they use the freshly caught fish to make the specials - ask the waitstaff what is freshest. There are adult only swinging hammock style chairs that are very popular, including an adults only section in the corner which has more of the hanging chairs, so it is nice to grab a drink and "hang around" for a while. At night, the bar area gets very packed with people of all ages. The laid-back atmosphere and scenic waterfront location keep us coming back, and the food specials always give us something new to try.
