We went to La Hacienda on a Friday night shortly after arriving in OC. At the recommendation of our server, my wife and I both ordered the rockfish taco. The rockfish was lightly breaded. It was served in a tortilla shell with lettuce, onion, cucumber, and salsa.
The rockfish was all right, but I would have preferred it broiled instead of fried. I thought the food was rather pricey considering the portions.
We split an order of beans with our tacos. We expected refried beans, but we got beans that resembled baked beans with a cheese on top. The beans were very ordinary without much taste.
Overall, the restaurant was average, nothing special.
