“Seems to have slipped a bit over the years”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

As frequent Ocean City visitors, we have had better experiences at Tequila Mockingbird in the past. While acceptable, the food lacked a certain "spirit". It was simply one notch above what could be had at a national fast food Mexican chain. Part of this may have been our arrival in the middle of the afternoon for a late lunch. Assuming that the kitchen was simply "idling" when we placed our orders, this could have been the cause of less than outstanding fare. We will return and hopefully find their offerings are back to what was good.

“Used to be a lot better”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2012

We've gone to this place every year for the past 10. Always great food, even though the atmosphere is blah.

This time, the food sucked. The rice was green, barely warm, and tasted very bland. The enchiladas seemed like they were missing an ingredient. The refried beans tasted like they were burned, and they had big chunks of bean in them. The kids chicken fingers were underwhelming. The margaritas were just ok, certainly not worth the price.

All at the table said the same thing- not nearly as good as in years past. Boo!

“Great Mexican”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012 via mobile

We took the advice of the good reviews on trip advisor and tried the restaurant. Boy were we glad! The food was fabulous. Would highly recommend it for good portions at fair prices.

“Large portions of good Mexican food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012 via mobile

Large portions. Tacos were food and also wives burrito. Margarita was yummy but on the sweet side. Good atmosphere and no wait @ 5 pm day after labor day

“Great Mexican food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

Good food and good times! Usually crowded, but worth the wait. Their salsa and chips are some of the best around! Portions are large but not too large. Service is prompt and courteous. No complaints.
