If your kid wants to ride the zip line. . . which mine did, and since he's five and this was our first zip line experience, we didn't know and he had open-toed sandals on so no go. This is after he had a meltdown because it was a cloudy day and we weren't going to the water park section (which is why we went to the amusement park in the first place, because it wasn't a nice beach day). . . But those were both parenting fails and no fault of the Jolly Roger, so once we overcame those challenges we all enjoyed the mini golf (and saw cute ducklings sleeping on the course), and then he won a big Smurf and enjoyed some rides. He also really liked the singing skeletons in the treasure chests near the park entrance. So, it ended up being a nice afternoon after all, and next time we will make sure that our little guy wears sneakers and we bring our bathing suits!
