Been staying there for several years and have also traveled with friends. Always have a nice clean room and friendly service. The food at the Coral Reef is also very good and happy hour is a plus. The manager Brian was very helpful and accommodating. Looking forward to another short stay in January!

Family was coming from all over to meet in Ocean City for my mothers 50th birthday. When we walked into the room, we were surprised by the full suite, walking right into the living room. Immediately I had to go check out the Jacuzzi tub and rain shower head, which I was totally a fan of (bought bubble bath). Yelling for my fiance to come look, he was equally screaming for me to come find him. I walked through the bedroom and found him out on the balcony listening to the waves coming in and how quite the beach was. It was so beautiful. The next morning this was exactly where I found myself at 7 am to watch the sun come up (picture below). The beds were comfortable and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I was having a fruit bouquet delivered to the hotel for my mom's birthday so I went to the front desk and both gentlemen were very helpful. She was close by and the desk clerk didn't want her catching a glimpse of it so he ran up a flight of steps and then took the elevator the rest of the way. If I had to say one thing is they did not leave more towels when they cleaned our room. It wasn't such a big deal because we were only there two nights and didn't find the time to ask for more. Other than that I will definitely be back again.

Would have given it a four star had it not been for the strong smell of smoke in the living room area of the suite, even though they are supposed to be a smoke free hotel. They could not accommodate us when we asked for a different room. We were only there for 2 nights so we just stayed in the bedroom area to avoid the smell. The shower was very weak, it was actually a jacuzzi with a spray shower coming from the ceiling. The view was nice, the size of the room was good, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Great location, being on the boardwalk was convenient.

We stayed the second week of September. We were in Room 1211 which was a double-queen, ocean-side room. It provided ample space and had an excellent view. Room was in need of a deep clean: cabinet doors in the kitchen were very sticky (it would help if they put hardward pulls on the doors), sofa and loveseat also needed cleaning (I wouldn't sit on the sofa without first putting down a towel), carpet was fraying at transition from tile to carpet; bedskirt had a nasty looking stain. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel restaurant was great for breakfast. Wonderful outdoor pool areas - one for families with young kids and one for adults. Beach access was also great. Location on the boardwalk was also good. At 18th street you are not located near all the "carnival" atmosphere down near the inlet. But you can get down to that area just by walking leisurely down the boardwalk. We had a great time - we actually were so relaxed we lost track of what day of the week it was.
