Gosh, we sure are sad to hear that you didn't enjoy your experience here at the "Shack", but thank you for the review. We just wanted to take a moment and address a couple of the concerns you had.

First and foremost we are a traditional Maryland Crab "Shack". We are no frills, and certainly are not the first choice among fancy folk. If sitting outside under the blazing summer sun and cracking some delicious blue crabs with friends over an ice cold beer is your thing, then we are right up your alley, but there are a few caveats. . .
Yes, Maryland summers sure can get a little hot
Yes, sometimes there are flies, just like if you have a picnic at your house
Yes, it is all outdoors, so weather plays a big role in your overall experience
Yes, our version of air conditioning is a good, stiff summer breeze
Yes, you've just experienced the most authentic, Maryland tradition around! Picking crabs the way they've been done for years!
Regarding the music selection, we don't always play country music. Sometimes there is a Ravens game or an Orioles game on and we make sure never to miss those! We've tried "Crabs & Classical" in the past, but it didn't go over very well at all.
You didn't specify which crabs you ordered, but we have to assume it was the $18.95 All-You-Can-Eat if they were on the smaller side. It IS All-You-Can-Eat, so we encourage you to just help yourself until you are full! If you are in a rush, or pickin' isn't your thing, we offer Larges and Jumbo's by the dozen, half-bushel, and bushel as well. The big boy's sure are a dream to pick, but we wouldn't be around very long if we gave those fella's away for $18.95, and that would make a lot of folks very very sad indeed.
Hopefully this addressed your concerns, and we wish you all the best in your future crab eating endeavors.
We hope to see you again someday!
