Very poorly maintained, broken toilet paper holder, bad/faulty security chain on door, anti-slip mat on bottom of tub was 'flaking' off, old fast food bag and dead bugs found behind bureau and other unpleasant things. Also bad food. We stayed there in past years and it was good, must be under new management.

Generally speaking, the hotel accomendations were average. There were restaurants and stores that were easily acessible by foot. In addition, I liked the fact that there was a shuttle that picked you up at the metro train station that is located close by the hotel. The main problem I had was that there were roaches in the hotel room everywhere I turned. Needless to say, this fact alone made an experience that would have been okay turn into a terrible experience. I definitely will never stay in this hotel again.

I would not recomend this hotel to any one. this whole experiance was bad from the get go. We arrived at the hotel at around 8p.m., checked in only to find there was no parking left on property, because of a family reunion. After an hour of waitng with no help from the staff. We decided to park down the street just to go to our room.

Upon arrival to our room, we found stains in the carpet, mildew, and our tub had a crack in it by the drain. When I spoke to the front desk person, I was basicly told too bad. They had no other room to put me in.

The neighborhood is not very good. The hotel always has a police officer present, and we were told by him not to walk anywhere if we valued our saftey.

At check out, I recieved our bill. I wasnt suprised to find out they tried to charge me tweny five dollars per night more then what my resevations were for. I wouldnt sign for it, and left. I called my credit card company and put a stop on it.

I would say they are so many choices in D.C. pay alittle more and save yourself the hassle.

BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL. YOUR BELONGINGS WILL BE STOLEN. This is the worst hotel I have EVER stayed at. My laptop and laptop bag was stolen out of my hotel room. It was not as if the laptop bag was lying around. It was inside a dresser drawer and the hotel confirmed that the only key used was that of housekeeping.

The hotel has refused to take ANY responsibility. They have refused ANY liability for the stolen goods. They have also charged me for my room and said that there was nothing wrong with the room. It must be only me that sees something worng with having goods stolen out of my room.

The hotel manager was EXTREMELY RUDE.

Please avoid this hotel and pay 20$ more at comparable hotels. The rooms are also seedy and smell a lot.
