“What's up (with the) Dock?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

There is no water as the restaurant name implies. It sits on a busy main road, close to a small airport. Have been there many times over the years. The new, larger parking lot adjacent to the restaurant is a great improvement. The gentleman at the front door is very nice and accommodating. Was there for a late lunch, thus the place was not full at all, compared to the others times I ate there. Most of us ordered the broiled crabcake. They have always been wonderful in the past (have not eaten here in the past 3 years), however they all looked rather dark and overlooked this particular time. Mine was fairly dry, thus needed tartar sauce to moisten it up. The soups- cream of crab, shrimp bisque, and Maryland crab were outstanding. Passed on the dessert, but they have a great selection in a twirling glass case.

“Good Food & Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

I visit the restaurant frequently for dinner during the weekdays. The food is well seasoned and served in ample portion sizes. There are daily food specials. I've tried several dishes ex. crabcakes (minium filling), steak (tender), blackened salmon (favorite), cream of crab soup (good), crab pretzels (couldn't stop eating it), etc. on different occassions. The prices are reasonable. One particular visit, my group consisted of 3 adults & 1child ordering appetizers, entree and drinks was $120.00 w/tax. Another visit, my group consisted of 2 adults ordering only entrees was $50. One of the adults ordered a crabcake and made the statement "they must have given me the whole can of crab meat." At the times I visited, there is never a long wait to be seated and service is right on point. The atmosphere is casual and laid back. It's usually quiet and usual patrons eating. They do have an upstairs inside the restaurant to accomodate larger parties or if the main floor of the restaurant is full. There is ample parking space. This restaurant can be for any type of occassion - family, solo, business, couples, etc. The restaurant is located in a reserved area. It's right near Benjie's drive in theater and a Royal Farms is across the street. It's worth the visit.

Been here a few times and food has been excellent. Service was always friendly. Crabcakes are the best. Everything we have ordered from here has been good.

“One of the Best Brunchs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2012

This restaurant offers a buffet Sunday Brunch for $12.99 and it is certainly a crowd pleaser, it includes homemade pasteries, creamed chipped beef or sausage gravy, carving station with sliced ham, fresh seasonal fruit, bacon and maple sausages, and much more. A highlight is a free mimosa, additional are extra. Oh, I almost forgot-the Seafood pasta is phenomonal with real seafood and nothing artificial...it had bow tie pasta in a cheese and cream sauce with huge chunks of chicken breast, lobster, crab, lg shrimp, and scallops the size of silver dollars. Absolutely delicious. We'll be telling all our friends about this brunch.
Additionally, if you go there for a meal, they offer the best crab cakes around-2 Jumbo lump, with minimal filler-just enough to barely hold them together and 2 sides for $26.99, also a value. We recommend the broiled.
Service was fast and friendly
The staff includes a 18% gratuity for the Sunday Brunch on your bill.

“Best Crab Cakes I've ever had!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

We went on business, and I had some reservations after reading other reviews - but I knew that I wanted crab cakes, and everyone seemed to rave about them... They were truly excellent - probably the best I've had... One of my colleagues had a steak - he thought it was pretty good - definitely not frozen... Others had items other than crabcakes, and they all agreed that the food was very good... don't know where the comments regarding frozen food came from....
