A non-event snow storm caused my USAirways flight from BWI to Charlotte to be cancelled, so I ended up at the Embassy Suites at BWI for a night. After lunch at the ES, I wanted something different for dinner, and after reading reviews of the Sheraton, I thought I’d give it a try.

What a treat!

Dinner at the Old Line Grill was just perfect. The restaurant is located just off the lobby, in combination with the bar, so it’s a rather casual place. Three TVs are mounted above the bar, but the volume is low, so they don’t compete with the background techno-jazz. Overall a nice atmosphere.

The menu offers a nice selection of pasta, sandwich, and entrée dinners, and the wine list was nicely varied and attractively priced. I enjoyed the Cajun grilled salmon with confetti rice and asparagus; the salmon was moist and tasty, the confetti rice hot and crumbly – the asparagus was overdone, but still good. The 14 Hands cabernet complemented the meal, and the raspberry cheesecake for dessert hit the spot. I was dining alone, but could tell that the others in the restaurant were enjoying their meals as much as I was.

The highlight of the evening was the service. Waiter Jarrell was attentive, but not overbearing. Service was just right.

The restaurant at the Embassy Suites was OK, but the Old Line Grill at the Sheraton had personality, which made all the difference! Enjoy.

I had a very positive experience I had with a really nice young man at the concierge lounge named Lionel.

I mentioned a cereal that I normally grab on the way to work, and the next day he had put some aside for me, which I really appreciated. That is service in invaluable for business travelers who are away from home 80% of the work week.

I just want to say what a nice comfortable hotel this is.It really makes you feel like home. im a traveler and been staying in this hotel every so often .everytime I stay here I'm very pleased of everything that this hotel have to offer. The staff here are really attentive and will go out of their way to help you. The room always been very clean. The restaurant Old line Grill really got my high expectation going,their food was excelllent. Definitely suggest this hotel.

I stayed at the BWI Sheraton over a 4-night period for business and was extremely happy with the quality of the hotel and the service. The rooms were very nice, always well cleaned, and very comfortable. The hotel restaurant had some of the best food I have had at a restaurant, let alone a hotel. All employees at the Sheraton were very friendly and always in high spirits. I ran into a few employees in the elevator and they were always very courteous and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to stay here again for business or pleasure.
