The pet fee policy on the website is NOT the same as the policy they make you sign on arrival. Website says pets (plural) for 1-6 nights pay up to $75, and for 7 nights plus, up to $150 --- sounds like flat fee for multiple pets, based on number of nights stayed. On arrival you sign the pet policy (2-3 pages) - I just looked for the amount & signed .... guess what, paid as much for 2 dogs as for people as it was $75 Each for 1-6 nights, which isn't too bad if you're there for 6 nights, but pretty steep for 1 - 2 nights! If they want to charge for more than one pet, should be reduced rate for second one.

After being regulars at a nearby competing property for years, we decided to take a chance and switch since we felt as if our "favorite" property was deteriorating. Very happy that we did. The suites were large, well-appointed, and clean. Customer service was excellent. One of our prime concerns is always noise that would interfere with sleeping comfortably. There was no reason to worry, as the property was very quiet.

At the risk of being "picky," there are only two minor issues that I would point out. First, the breakfast buffet in general is excellent. Fresh fruit, oatmeal, bread, bagels, pastries, bacon, cold cuts, yogurt, cottage cheese, waffles, and more. That's why it was a little disappointing that the hot egg selection consisted of what I would call "institutional omelets." Most higher quality buffets offer a scrambled egg option. Others might feel differently, but I think that would be an upgrade relative to the omelets. Also, a dry cereal such as corn flakes or regular Special K that provided an alternative to the "sugar buzz" Fruit Loops, Frosted Flakes, etc., would be nice. Second, there was only one time in three days that I was able to access the internet without a protracted delay. Connecting the first time was a breeze, but after that, it was frustrating, especially when trying to check in to get our airline boarding passes.

Will we be back? Without a doubt. I just wanted to point out a few very minor issues that were inconsistent with the otherwise overall outstanding experience that we enjoyed.

My wife and I stayed here since we were flying out of BWI airport. Turned out to be the best decision. Great suite and kitchenette. Felt like I was staying in a brand new 1 bedroom condo. Shuttle service 24/7 each half hour. Left our car parked there for a week for $40 extra. Very convenient considering free shuttle to/from airport.

This excellent property has everything I look for in a hotel when traveling for business. It's clean and in brand-new condition. Breakfast was provided at no cost and included a wide range of choices. The studio suite I booked was larger than expected. Of course all Staybridge Suites rooms have "full" kitchens, which here means a full-size fridge and freezer, microwave, sink, dishwasher, and 2 glass-top burners, plus dishes, utensils, etc. The room was insulated well - I couldn't hear anything at all. There was a large HDTV, with many HD channels available. I stayed two nights, and my commute to Columbia was no problem between 8:30 and 9:00am. If you need to be in this area, I highly recommend this property. I couldn't give it an "excellent" rating because 1)Staybridge Suites properties only give 50% of the Priority Club Points compared to other IHG hotel brands. 2)The internet speed was very slow in the evenings - likely a crush on the system with more guests using the available bandwidth.
