“Alright for 1 night”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2010

I stayed here for one night on a my way to DC. The shuttle was handy, but the drivers were rather rude. The front desk was professional, but lacked any sort of personality. The room was clean, but the walls were paper thin. The hotel was always loud, and it was not even that crowded! I would stay here again if I had to.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my husband's family while we were in town for a wedding. The queen room was a great size for my husband, his sister, her boyfriend and I. There was a little living room so that we could all get ready at the same time. The room was nice. There is a free continential breakfast every morning set with waffles, sausage, hard boiled eggs, pastries, fruit and many other things. The hotel staff was very friendly. There was a free shuttle to drop us off at the train station, which we took into DC. It was a nice 30 minute ride.

This hotel was nice. Breakfast was nice, rooms were fine, and the staff was friendly. Just about every time we went through the lobby the front desk staff would greet our young daughter and chat her up. No real problems to speak of.

The only downside is the isolated nature of this hotel and others in the BWI area. It's only about a 10-15 minute drive downtown but is dependent on traffic. There actually is a decent selection of restaurants in the area as well as a bunch of selections over in Glen Burnie which was less than 10 minutes away.

But for the price, the hotel was definitely worth it as opposed to staying in the Inner Harbor. Also, it was easy to get on either 295 or 95 south and head toward DC. Only about a 20 minute drive to the Greenbelt Metro station outside of DC.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel twice in one week. We found it to be very nice, clean, comfortable and with a wonderful staff. The breakfast they serve was extensive. We did not have time to use the fitness equipment or pool, but both looked good. Conveniently located near the BWI airport and about 9 miles from downtown Baltimore. We would definitely stay there again.

We had an early morning flight out of BWI, so rather than drive in from DC at 4 a.m., we stayed here using the park/sleep/fly program. Our room was very spacious (included a couch, desk and mini kitchen with microwave), the bed was comfortable, the staff courteous and the breakfast tasty. The cleaning staff could do a slightly better job (grimy fingerprints on the doors and walls) and the soaps were that cheap, harsh stuff you'd find at a bargain-basement chain, but those are minor quibbles. If you are looking for a clean, decent option near the BWi airport, this place fits the bill.

We stayed here just because we wanted to be close to the airport to catch an early flight the next day. The lobby was very loud due to several groups of young people--either sports teams or families. This made it difficult to print boarding passes as the internet service was constantly being used by the "kids" to check their facebook. Not the hotel's fault, but it would be nice if they designated one computer and printer just to print boarding passes. Once we were in our room it was quiet. The room was decent, but the televisions were pretty poor quality. I don't expect flat screens, but the TV in the living room area had a picture that was completely snowy. The other TV was too small to see from the couch. Other than that it was fine. The desk people were very nice and helpful.
