Guenther's Bistro just opened in Leonardtown. Its in the Wine shop, but actually separate, private, congenial and loaded with ambiance in the evenings.. I had lunch once, brought my 5 yr old son. I recommend the Chimicurri Roast Beef on Sourdough created by their Chef (yes, i said Chef, he cooked for the White House!) It was great. The kids menu worked fine for our son. A second time, after the free wine tasting in the wine/spirits shop last week, we had dinner. Their menu is very Continental: Beef Bordelaise, Sauerbraten, Pan seared Rockfish, Italian lobster-ravioli, etc. My Wife loved the fish, my Suaerbraten was awesome, and our friend loved her lobster ravioli. Surprisingly, we even got to enjoy cocktails after dinner. The Owner, a woman named Swanney, made us feel rather special. It all made for a perfect dining experience.
